BLADDER SYMPTOMS
Incontinence...
is the involuntary leakage of urine. It can present as ‘stress urinary incontinence’ which is when it occurs for example after a cough, sneeze, laugh, jump or sudden movement. Or it can present as ‘urge urinary incontinence’ which is when the sensation to pass urine occurs rapidly, with a difficulty to defer it and often this causes a woman to leak. Women can present with a combination of both; this is mixed urinary incontinence.

Difficulty or discomfort associated with voiding and incomplete emptying are more bothersome bladder symptoms that can occur with or without incontinence or OAB.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy can help significantly reduce and perhaps even eradicate bladder symptoms. We do this by listening to your story, carrying out an assessment and devising a strategy which will often include advice, modification and exercise prescription where deemed appropriate.
